This little one celebrated her 2nd birthday the very day I photographed them! Despite the cold, we made the most of the beautiful, clear morning exploring the low-hanging tree branches, investigating spiderwebs and wandering through the long grass. There were so many sweet moments for me to capture! A few tears were shed while little fingers were warmed up but before long we were off again! It’s so important that we take our time during these shoots. Little ones can take a while to get used to the surroundings, and to me with my camera. Some of the most precious shots are of those moments where they’re being comforted and if we allow them this time to ease into the session, it really pays off!
